We read every message we receive. Whether you’ve spotted a mistake in a review, want to tip us off about an operator behaving badly, or have a question about something we’ve written, this page lists the right address to reach.
Editorial
For questions about our reviews, suggestions for sites we should cover, factual corrections, or general feedback on what we publish. We aim to acknowledge editorial emails within two working days, though a substantive reply on a complex query may take longer.
If you’ve spotted something inaccurate, we’d genuinely like to know. Corrections are published openly with a note at the foot of the page explaining what changed and when. See our About Us page for our corrections policy.
Commercial
For affiliate partnerships, advertising enquiries, or any commercial proposal. Please note we do not accept paid placements within our editorial league tables, paid reviews, or “guest posts” disguised as editorial content. We’re happy to discuss clearly-labelled sponsored content, banner advertising, or affiliate programmes, but it’s worth reading our editorial independence statement on the About Us page before getting in touch.
Complaints
If you’re unhappy with something we’ve published, with how a member of our team has handled an enquiry, or with the accuracy of a review, please raise it with us first. We take complaints seriously, and our process is designed to resolve them properly rather than fob them off.
Stage 1: Initial response
Email [email protected] with the details of your complaint. We’ll acknowledge receipt within 5 working days and provide a full written response within 20 working days.
Stage 2: Editorial review
If you’re not satisfied with our initial response, you can request an editorial review by our editor, Neil Strachan. The review will be completed within a further 20 working days, and the outcome will be communicated to you in writing.
Stage 3: External escalation
If you remain unhappy after Stage 2, you have the right to escalate to an external body depending on the nature of the complaint:
- Editorial standards or factual accuracy: IMPRESS or another recognised press regulator, where applicable
- Data protection concerns: the Information Commissioner’s Office
- Advertising standards: the Advertising Standards Authority
- Gambling-related concerns about an operator we cover: see “What We Can’t Help With” below
Data Protection
To exercise any of your rights under UK GDPR (access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, or withdrawal of consent), email [email protected]. We’ll respond within one calendar month, as required by law. Full details of your rights are in our Privacy Policy.
Press
For media enquiries, expert comment, podcast appearances, or interview requests, contact [email protected]. Our editor and senior contributors are available to comment on the UK online gambling industry, cryptocurrency in gambling, regulatory developments, and consumer protection. Please include your outlet, deadline, and the angle you’re pursuing.
Tip-Offs
If you’ve had a bad experience with an operator we cover, or you have information about a site engaging in practices our readers should know about (delayed withdrawals, account closures of winning players, misleading bonus terms, or anything else), we want to hear from you. Email [email protected] with the subject line “Tip-off.”
We treat all tip-offs in confidence. We will not publish your name, identifying details, or correspondence without your express consent. Where we follow up by investigating an operator, we always seek independent verification before publishing; your account alone will not be presented as fact.
What We Can’t Help With
We’re an independent editorial site. We do not operate any of the betting platforms we review, and there are several things we genuinely cannot help with. We can, however, point you to the right place.
“My withdrawal is being delayed / I can’t access my funds.” Raise it with the operator’s customer support first, in writing. If unresolved, escalate to the licensing authority named on the site’s footer (typically Curaçao Gaming Control Board or Anjouan Gaming) and to a complaint-handling service such as AskGamblers Complaints Service or Casino.Guru. If the operator holds a UKGC licence, you can also escalate to IBAS.
“My account has been closed and my balance confiscated.” Same route as above. Keep copies of all correspondence and screenshots of your account.
“I think I’m developing a gambling problem.” Please visit our Responsible Gambling page, which lists the UK organisations that offer free, confidential support, including GamCare (0808 8020 133, open 24/7).
“Can you tell me what to bet on?” No. We review platforms; we don’t tip selections, and we’d be wary of anyone who claims to.
“Can you recover money I’ve lost gambling?” No, and please be very cautious of any service claiming it can. So-called “recovery agents” targeting gamblers are almost always scams that take an upfront fee and deliver nothing.
Why We Don’t Publish a Phone Number
We’re a small editorial team, not a contact centre. A phone line we couldn’t staff properly would be worse than no phone line at all: calls would go unanswered, voicemails would pile up, and you’d reasonably feel ignored. Email gives us time to research your query properly and reply with something useful. If your enquiry genuinely needs a phone call, mention it in your email and we’ll arrange one.
Response Times
Our published response times reflect normal working conditions. During UK bank holidays, major sporting events, or other high-volume periods, replies may take slightly longer. We’d rather give you an accurate answer late than a rushed one on time. If your enquiry is genuinely urgent, mark the subject line “Urgent” and explain why, and we’ll prioritise it.
